Private Events at The Lion's Den 1837
Thank you for considering The Lion's Den 1837 for your upcoming celebration! We offer a few options depending on your guest count and the type of event you are planning.
Private Events
Large Party Reservations
For parties of 8–15 guests, we are happy to accommodate a large party reservation.
These reservations are scheduled between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM or after 7:00 PM and will have one dedicated server assisting your group.
Private Events
For groups of 16 or more guests, we recommend reserving private event space. This option is perfect for rehearsal dinners, birthdays, celebrations, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions.
Private events include:
- A $500 deposit to secure your date
- A dedicated server team
- Reserved private event space in the original dining room
- he option to discuss a special menu based on your event
- Entertainment is welcome with prior approval from The Lion's Den

Wednesday & Thursday: $2,000
Friday: $3,500
Saturday: $4,500

Entire Dining Room
50-80 guests
Wednesday & Thursday: $5,000
Friday: Reserved for Regular Service
Saturday: Reserved for Regular Service
Sunday: $5,000
Menu Planning
For private events, hosts typically select 3–4 entrée options for guests, along with a selection of shared starters, passed hors d'oeuvres, or a buffet-style selection of heavier hors d'oeuvres. A portion and allergen guide along with menu options will be provided to help with planning.
By selecting starters beforehand, guests can spend more time enjoying each other and the celebration rather than focusing on the menu.
Deposits & Cancellation
A $500 deposit is required to reserve your event date. Cancellation must be made at least 30 days prior to the event; cancellations made within 30 days will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Food & beverage minimums include alcohol sales. A 20% gratuity and 9.3% sales/meals tax are additional and are not included in the minimum. Please note that holidays and special event weekends may be excluded.
